Only the security of the property in Portugal is taken.

Currently the Banks affordability criteria is calculated on 30% of the client’s income (total earnings after tax must service the new borrowing and any existing borrowing elsewhere).
All Financial information on each individual client is only sent to the lending Bank by courier or email with the client’s permission and authority. No financial information is stored after the client accepts the Bank offer. All the financial information is then destroyed by Confidential Disposal experts.
